Background
A client was building a 5000 MT controlled atmosphere store in North India and their technical advisor had left the project midway in the month of May. They were stranded and feared losing of revenue for one complete year, they approached us in the last week of July
Key Challenges
- To capture the apple season in September, we had only one month to operationalize the unit
- Material handling equipment was not available
- Equipment installation was underway and had not been commissioned
- Impending storage chambers testing & verification

Our Solution
We were put up against a very tough task of ensuring that they do not miss the harvesting season and the stored product gives the desired quality. We started with breaking down the entire commissioning schedule into essential and non-essential items.
- The essential items were put into fast track and all vendors were accordingly aligned.
- Our team worked on establishing procurement and logistics supply chain
- Negotiated contracts with farmers and traders
- Made 50% of the unit operational within 6 weeks.
